Jo Wherrell works closely with the YDSA Yorkshire committee, although employed by the FDSO she has a remit to look after the interests of those with a physical disability, an undertaking that the YDSA Yorkshire committee are also responsible for. In addition to the national events, YDSA Yorkshire, through the Federation of Disability Sports Organisations continue to offer grass roots participation to people with a physical disability throughout Yorkshire and Humberside in a variety of sports including; athletics, swimming, boccia, new age kurling and cricket.
