Headingley Opportunity for Sports Leaders

FDSO has teamed up with the Yorkshire Cricket Board to once again offer young sports leaders the opportunity to sample "A day in the life of Headingley Carnegie".
The one day "behind the scenes" tour of Headingley is offered to sports leaders with a disability aged 14-18 yrs, and will take place during the Yorkshire Vs Glamorgan match on Wednesday 5th September 2012.
The event, which has proved to be a big hit over the past three years, enables young leaders to see what is involved in staging a County Cricket match. They will visit the press box, the stewards' control centre, the hospitality facilities and the changing areas. Additionally, there is an opportunity to have a game of cricket in the indoor cricket school, and to watch day 2 of the Yorkshire Vs Glamorgan game.
The opportunity is provided by the YCB, free of charge. Young Leaders must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
