Our Team

The Federation has recently undergone new and exciting developments. Having worked with Sport England, We have realised funding for 4 Disability Development Officers (DDO’s) to work within the four County Sport Partnerships to develop and promote sport for disabled people throughout Yorkshire.

 

The FDSO office is staffed by the Chief Executive, Kevan Halliday-Brown, Tony Stones the Empowerment Project Officer - who programme manages the ‘Sporting Voices’ project, Ian Spencer the Events Development Officer who is responsible for the delivery of the extensive events programme.

 

Fiona Hall has moved into the newly created post of Learning Disability Development Officer and new to the team is Sean Curran, recruited specifically for Deaf Sport Development.

Bev Whiteley is the Administration Officer and takes responsibility for general office management and organisation of the Annual Awards Dinner.
